The 16th Shanghai International Forum on Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Industry (BIO-FORUM 2014) was held at Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing on 22-24 May 2014. The conference has become a major international forum of the bio-medical industry.
In this edition, Linkcare has introduced its collaborative medicine platform for village doctors. This new app is a cooperation with the Chinese Rural Doctor Association and will provide multiple services to doctors, such as on line digital medical records, medical visit registration, preventive medicine screening, medication follow up, etc..
The app will also allow rural doctors to follow continued medical education programs in compliance with the Chinese Ministry of Health guidelines on improving village doctors medical knowledge.
As the digital medical framework deploys, the annonimous aggregated health information collected will help to improve the knowledge of the population health profile and help planning the resources to cover the needs of the population.
The village doctors project has been supported by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness under the project IDENSSA (INNPACTO program grant number IPT-2011-1333-900000)
